It was a difficult decision, one he thought about for months, but Kevin Hart has selected California over Oregon! He becomes the first Fernley athletic to receive a full scholarship to a Division I-A school directly out of high school. "They really sold me," Hart said. "Coach [Jeff] Tedford and I talked a lot, and the fact that the head coach did most of the recruiting of me kind of gave me the real personal experience." Oregon, obviously, will be pissed.

Unbelievable.
Well, not totally unbelievable, I guess. You had to know that some college program was going to use Kevin Hart to get some quick easy publicity by talking to or about Kevin Hart.
As chronicled here, there and everywhere else, Hart effed with all of us this week during the insanity of Signing Day. Today comes news that Jerry Glanville (of Run-and-Shoot fame, who is now coaching at Portland State) and his coaching staff are getting ready to take a look at The Big Idiot That Conned.

I can't wait to get down to New Orleans. The obvious reason for this would be the All-Star game on Saturday. The more important reason is that it's been like 50 degrees below zero all week in Bismarck. Blizzard and cold weather warnings have been in effect for a few days. I heard that the wind chill was down to like 73 below. That's colder than anything I can fathom. The Midwest would have to be the coldest place on earth right now. Even penguins would fly south for the winter if they lived in North Dakota. I would feel like a sham for icing my knees after practice. I can just as easily stand outside for 10-15 minutes and pretend I was in a cold ...
