Opportunity
Double-T Nation —
Opportunity usually isn't so bold as it has been this week.
Usually, opportunity is a little more subtle, giving you hints of the potential for something great, but not this week.
This week opportunity has laid at the doorstep of Texas Tech the opportunity to prove the mettle of this team.
Do your job better than them.
Do your job and you will win.

Bobby Knight Joins College Gameday For Best Picks Segment Ever
The Critical Fanatic —
The General Bobby Knight joined the boys on ESPN’s College Gameday in Lubbock, Texas for arguable the best picks segment ever.
Of course, Lee Corso had to steal the show at the end.
You rarely see Bobby Knight laughing, and so much so he’s nearly crying. I’m just glad that guns and Coach Knight were involved without anyone getting hurt.

ABC, CBS Say Texas Is Red
fangsbites.com 11/5/2008 — It's been Red traditionally and Texas will remain so according to CBS and ABC. A couple of network trends. ABC, CBS and Fox News are more aggressive in making projections. NBC's Chuck Todd is a bit more conservative. CNN is way of the map, so to speak, on its calls. I wonder the thinking behind it.
