Kyle Boller: The Reason Steve McNair Still Has A Job
FanIQ Blog — If you've watched the Baltimore Ravens this season it hasn't taken you long to ask "How does Steve McNair still have a starting QB job in the NFL." The answer to that question resides in this video clip above. Kyle Boller displaying his tremendous accuracy. But hey, Boller can throw 70 yards on his knees. You'd think offensive genius Brian Billick would have called that play by now.

THE NICKELODEON: KYLE BOLLER IS A GREAT QB
Epic Carnival — Have you ever asked yourself, "How is it that Steve McNair, even as bad as he is playing this year, still has the starting job in Baltimore?" Oh, c'mon, you know you ask yourself that all the time. I mean, with Kyle Boller just sitting there, waiting to come in and light it up, why is McNair still the man in B-more? Well, I think this little clip pretty much sums it up. Go deeeep with Kyle ... after the jump. (Credit FanIQ Sports Blog with the find.) ...

Kyle Boller Can Throw a Football 60 Yards From His Knees, 60 Inches From His Feet
FanHouse — Filed under: Ravens, BaltimoreThanks to Fan IQ Blog for this video of Ravens quarterback Kyle Boller warming up on the sidelines by tossing a ball to a teammate a few yards away ... and underthrowing him badly: Yes, Boller is the guy who can allegedly throw a football from the 50-yard line through the goal posts from his knees, but he can't seem to throw a football more than a few feet when one of his teammates is on the receiving end.   Permalink | Email ...

Fantasy Football: Week Eleven Stock Report
Empty the Bench — There’s only a few weeks left until the fantasy playoffs kick off, in some leagues as little as four. Whether you’re fighting to stay alive or positioning your playoffs-bound team for a high seed, keeping up on which players are seeing an uptick (and downtick) in their performance is crucial. And wouldn’t you know it, Week Ten in the NFL saw some significant developments. Lucky for you, ETB has emerged from The Local Watering Hole with notes on the latest gridiron heroes and zeroes, and are here to share them with you, no strings attached. Except your first-born child. And a hot plate of au gratin potatoes. It’s not much to ask. Don’t be so cheap. Big ...

The Stache Report: Browns vs. Steelers
Doubt About It — - I will admit that coming into this season I had some doubt as to whether Ben was a franchise QB. Coming off a 23 INT season, I think most everyone did. But what he has done this season has not only solidified his stance as a franchise QB, but in my mind I also think he’s the 3rd best QB in the league behind Brady and Manning. And as it relates to Manning, even then I’m not sure if I’d take him over Ben. What he is able to do game in and game out, shrugging off defenders like it’s nothing and willing this team to victory is incredible. He’s also a humble guy who gives credit every week to his receivers and offensive line, even when they play ...

Kyle Boller embarrasses himself
The World of Isaac — How bad has it gotten for the Ravens? Well, they had to bench Steve McNair for this guy.

Tuesday Morning Quarterback

They are officially one of the best opponents to start your fantasy defense against…Mike Williams, Keary Colbert, Dwayne Jarrett, Steve Smith: It’s safe to say USC’s system is better than the wide receivers playing in it…Julius Peppers is having one of the most disappointing seasons in the NFL this year. Effusive in my praise of Adrian Peterson last week, the bloggers curse has struck again. At least I prefaced it noting his previous injury history, but what a blow to fantasy owners. To be honest, I’ve never ...

Fantasy Football: Week Eleven Matchups
Empty the Bench — It’s not all fun and games anymore. Your co-worker’s smack talk is starting to hit a little too close to home. People are writing you off, and you don’t like it. Your boss is on the verge of elimination, and you want nothing more than to seal the deal. That cocky guy in marketing needs somebody to fix his wagon, and you desperately want to be the one to do it. We understand. We’re here to help. It’s Week 11 of the NFL season, and ETB’s Matchups are more important than ever. You need our break down of a few key fantasy matchups at all the positions that matter (sorry, kickers make us depressed). Well, here they are. For each roster spot we’ve listed ...

Week 11 Quarterback Rankings
RotoRob — 1. Tom Brady vs./@ ______ - For the rest of the season, this will be the first ranking barring some unforeseen event. It doesn’t matter who he plays. He’s having a season for the ages. 2. Tony Romo vs. Redskins - Most years, Romo would be the top-scoring quarterback, but this isn’t most years. Still, he’s a nice alternative to those who have Brady. The Redskins possess a hard-hitting secondary, but that’s hardly reason to have any second thoughts on the Dallas phenom. 3. Peyton Manning vs. Chiefs - Hey, at least the yardage numbers were good. The past week made me question how good Manning really is. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still a ...

And Billick is still coach ... why?
It Never Rains in College Park — Well, in absentia of college sports (thank you, finals), today we gaze in on professional sports and, unfortunately, my favorite franchise. The Ravens were the first team in the entire season to fall to the Miami Dolphins, 22 -16. Here's the thing: I turned the game off when the score was 13-10 to work on an essay for finals. I already knew they were going to lose. I knew it: My Raven's sense was going off. One thing about a team without a clutch offense is you can always tell that they'll lose the game after the momentum shift. They can't reclaim it. Sure, you can blame injuries if you want. Sure, you ...

Paying tribute to Kyle Boller
The Eric Gargiulo Blog at phillyBurbs.com — Word comes today that Kyle Boller won’t be ready to play football this season. My question is, when has Kyle Boller ever been ready to play football? Thanks for the season Kyle.

Fools Gold: Panning for NFL Draft Busts
Niners Nation — ... #1 overall pick? Or is he (and his mediocre 57% completion rate at Georgia) just the highest ranked QB this year like Alex Smith was in 2005 and countless others who haven't lived up to the billing? Mark Sanchez has less film to watch than any potential 1st rounder I can remember. Josh Freeman is a case-study in how to waste a 1st round draft pick. Every mistake made at QB in the draft starts with a big kid and a rifle arm. Throwing a ball through the goal posts from the 50 yard ...
