Manny Ramirez Serves as Angel Berroa’s Translator in Post Game Interview
Larry Brown Sports — Angel Berroa homered on Wednesday night, his first since ‘06. Even though he’s mostly a Spanish speaker, he was interviewed on FSN after the Dodgers’ win. One caveat however: he had Manny Ramirez — the two instantly became friends when Manny arrived in LA — translate the interview for him. As you could imagine, pure hilarity ensued. Turn up your volume for this one, and make sure you’re paying attention around the :50 mark. How great was that when Berroa got busted? He couldn’t even play his role properly! Once again ...

It seems as if the moment he put on his Dodger blues, he has been giving fans, teammates and announcers their money’s worth. In this video clip, Manny Ramirez is serving as the Spanish to English translator for teammate Angel Berroa. Berroa had just been the hero and Ramirez stepped in with a humorous translation bit. While the Dodgers sit at 70-70, they are still very much alive in the NL playoff race. Only 1.5 games behind the Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles has plenty of time to close ...
