I don't want to rain about Bynum's parade "pun intended", but you would think that someone would have told Young Bynum that "Making It Rain" is normally a good gateway to trouble. I understand he is 21 and wants to have fun, but he has to be careful and someone needs to be in his ear to let him know that athletes are targets.
Over the last couple of years too many athletes have been involved in incidents where they decided to flaunt their wealth in places where individuals see that as a lack of respect.

I believe that the message Bynum is sending the Lakers management is very clear. Andrew Bynum is saying to Mitch Kupchak “I am making too much money, I have so much of it, I must throw it away in a club at random.”

The Lakers needed this game more than the Celtics. If the Lakers got blown out, or folded down the stretch, the consensus would have been that the Lakers still didn’t have enough to beat the Celtics.
