It is hard to believe this monster in the middle is only 21 years old, hopefully some maturity will follow, but after I saw this video of his birthday bash at Club Krave, I don't know so much. Dollar, Dollar bills y'all! I guess I can't blame the kid letting lose on his 21st birthday, I mean, who doesn't? But throwing all that money on the crowd seems a little reckless and irresponsible. I don't want to rain about Bynum's parade "pun intended", but you would think that someone would have told Young Bynum that "Making It Rain" is normally a good gateway to trouble. I understand he is 21 and wants to have fun, but he has to be careful and someone needs to be in his ear to let him know that athletes are targets.
Over the last couple of years too many athletes have been involved in incidents where they decided to flaunt their wealth in places where individuals see that as a lack of respect.
Young Bynum just a word of advice keep your money in your pocket.

I'm sure some of you are probably wondering how the current economic climate is affecting pro athletes. Well, as this video of Andrew Bynum at his 21st birthday from this past weekend makes clear, the answer is not at all.

Makes sense. That's what all the cool kids do. Ahhh ... to be young and rich and not Canadian. (I did three years for making it rain loonies and toonies in a Toronto club once. Accidentally blinded a stripper and wounded two other innocent bystanders. Not a good birthday that year. Not a good birthday at all.)

Just hours before the tip of the NBA opening night games, I came across this video via Ball Hype. I believe it is proof that the Los Angeles Lakers are currently paying Andrew Bynum too much money. I believe that the message Bynum is sending the Lakers management is very clear. Andrew Bynum is saying to Mitch Kupchak “I am making too much money, I have so much of it, I must throw it away in a club at random.”

I think at this time it would be appropriate for Kevin Pritchard to address the public on the dangers of Odenizing. Serious negative health consequences are a real possibility. Five observations from today’s 92-83 win versus the Celtics:
The Lakers needed this game more than the Celtics. If the Lakers got blown out, or folded down the stretch, the consensus would have been that the Lakers still didn’t have enough to beat the Celtics. It would have killed the confidence of the young Lakers (e.g. Bynum), as well as the soft Lakers (e.g. all their greasy Euros, and Lamar Odom). Andrew Bynum scored a season-high 24 points last night, including a key put-back bucket late in the fourth, and it looks like he could be on the way to a big second-half.
