Louisville Blows Out Tennessee 79-60, Tar Heels Await
FanIQ Blog — Bruce Pearl's Vols were able to overcome a lot of poor shooting nights by getting some easy transition buckets but Louisville didn't let that happen. They also didn't let Tennessee get many rebounds or allow Chris Lofton to get comfortable. You need a post player if you're going to advance far in this tournament. Just ask Duke. This may sound like an incredible stretch but last night was the first time I believed the Cardinals were capable of winning it all. To do that they'll of course need to beat North Carolina on Saturday, but they might match up as well as any other team left. David ...

Louisville 79, Tennessee 60
Card Chronicle — The view from cloud nine is pretty outstanding. If you haven't yet, I highly recommend taking a second to stop and take a gander. I have a long and highly important day filled with alcohol, cornhole and Louisville basketball talk ahead of me, so this will be pretty brief. Did Earl Clark do anything wrong in the second half? If it wasn't the very best, it was at least one of the top five 20-minute performances I've ever seen from a U of L basketball player. There simply aren't enough compliments to hurl in the direction of Andre McGee right now. Edgar Sosa's combination of foul trouble and overall ineptitude forced McGee into 32 minutes of action, ...

with my March Madness bracket! Okay, I shouldn't be too excited. I have Memphis winning in my big money brackets, and other teams have been looking really good this tournament. I do have Louisville in my final four, so I was really glad to see them stomp last night. I would love to see Stanford beat Texas tonight (the line is Texas -2.5 @ BoDog - link ). One of my best friends has Texas going ...
March Madness: The Magnificent 12 Is SetIntentional Foul
Until the field is reduced to eight teams tonight, I figured I’d have a little fun with the 12 remaining while focusing on the teams that won last night. Xavier beat West Virginia , North Carolina rolled Washington State , Tennessee got waxed by Louisville (who is looking like the best team in the tournament right now), and UCLA almost gave one to Western Kentucky . All in all, ...
Dancin’ At The Sweet 16: Tennessee - LouisvilleIntentional Foul
Tennessee/Louisville Outlook This might be the only regional final where the two coaches outshine their respective teams. On one side, it’s Bruce Pearl and his never-ending quest of self-promotion (albeit, for the benefit of his team) and on the other, there stand Rick Pitino, the apple of the eye for all University of Kentucky fans. I’m hesitant to guess how much these two ...
Hump Day HottieLadies...
I’ve been thoroughly enjoying March Madness so far, and I’m sure a lot of that had to do with being in Las Vegas for the first weekend. What a shitshow. It was awesome though. I’m liking the looks of Louisville and I’ve always been a Padgett fan, so here’s a little Brandon Padgett for your Wednesday afternoon.
Chris Lofton = One-Legged Shooter?Intentional Foul
Here’s some tournament news that might make the Losers With Socks dudes upset: apparently, shooting wunderkind Chris Lofton slightly injured one of his legs and has been wearing a walking boot because of it. Now, being in Tennessee, wearing boots might seem like normal behavior, but remember, Lofton is supposed to be getting ready for a massive game against the Louisville Cardinals . ...
NCAA MadnessTeeoff Sports
The tournament has been captivating as many of the favorites are still alive but a few top teams have gone down. The Sweet 16 will be played on Thursday and Friday so re-energize (and hopefully your brackets are not total busts). Here is a breakdown by region. East: UNC v. Washington St; Louisville v. Tennessee North Carolina rolled [...]
March Madness: Scores and UpdatesSports Blog - football, basketball, and baseball
In progress right now is the UNC/Arkansas game, which is pretty much over (UNC has doubled Arkansas’ score at the half), the Louisville/Oklahoma game, which also can be considered over (Louisville is killing them), and the only game that’s worth watching, the Memphis/MSU game, where Memphis is up eight points with 13 minutes remaning. Here’s scores of the games that went ...
