RG I think Fielder is fat and disgusting, cannot be called an athlete, does not need to be a fat pig to hit home runs, and should apologize to fans everywhere for forcing us to have to look at him. He is not a leader....he is a disgrace. I say fine him and suspend him and use the time to go on a diet!
Y SO SERIOUS PRINCE??? FIELDER - PARRA FIGHT
Docksquad Sports —
Check out this footage from tonight's game of Prince Fielder unloading on his own teammate, Manny Parra!!! Inner turmoil for the Brewers, gotta love it!!! Who knows, maybe Manny was dangling some steak in Prince's face. Haha, I'm sure that was it. It's probably the fact that the Brewers are 2-7 in their last 9 games. I'm sure we will find out more about what triggered Prince tomorrow. But until then, I will stick with my steak story. Brewers fans, you know I am loving this as a Cubs fan right? Don't HATE! GO CUBS GO! BallHype - FIELDER - PARRA ...
Prince Fielder Fights, Shoves Brewers Pitcher Manny Parra During Dugout Argument
FanIQ Blog —
We're still trying to figure out the circumstances surrounding the Milwaukee Brewers dugout skirmish, but to the naked eye, Prince Fielder disapproved of whatever Manny Parra had to say, or pitch, and shoved him against the dugout bench.
Prince Fielder is said to be the Brewers leader. We shall see.
Last year the Cubs were energized by the dugout fight of Carlos Zambrano and Michael Barrett, but no one is getting traded away in Beer town.
I wouldn't think too much of this, but the fact Ned Yost is supervising should be a concern.
“It’s not a big deal,” ...

Prince Fielder Fights Manny Parra in Brewers’ Dugout
Larry Brown Sports —
OK, so maybe fighting isn’t exactly accurate. Perhaps “attacks” would be more suitable since only one person was going crazy. Whatever. I’ll let you decide how to describe what went on in the Brewers’ dugout between Prince Fielder and Manny Parra on Monday night.
I don’t know about you, but I’d be pretty freaked out if 300lbs of Prince Fielder were coming after me. That’s not cool. In case you’re wondering what set things off, we have an idea.
Parra, who ...
Prince Fielder, Brewers Dugout Fight Video
Sports of Boston —
Remember when Manny Ramirez shoved Kevin Youkilis against the dugout fence, and it was barely caught on camera? Well, Brewers 1B Prince Fielder fought starting pitcher Manny Parra in the dugout Monday night and it was all caught on TV. Watch as Fielder almost shoves Parra right through the wall. ...

Now that was fun. Prince hasn’t been eating meat lately but that doesn’t mean his diet can’t include a piece of Manny Parra.
The Brewers are in a dogfight to make the playoffs and Prince didn’t like Parra’s little whine-fest after being pulled for a ...

Prince Fielder Falling Off The Meat Wagon
Deuce of Davenport | Sports News, Commentary, Humor, Videos —
The Prince Fielder is recognizable for its barrel-shaped torso, enormous mouth and teeth, hairless body, stubby legs and tremendous size. It is similar in size to the White Rhinoceros; only elephants are consistently heavier. Despite its stocky shape and short legs, it can easily outrun a human. Prince Fielders have been clocked at 30 mph (48 km/h) while running short distances, faster than an Olympic sprinter. The Prince Fielder is regarded to be Milwaukee's most dangerous player, and is among the most aggressive players in the world. We've also heard the rumors about Prince Fielder being a vegetarian. Come on, dawg. You ...
Manny Parra Gets Between Prince Fielder and Tofu Dog
Walkoff Walk —
How else would you explain these aggressive moves by Prince?
Seems as if Prince was just ticked off that Manny was headed to the showers after being pulled in the seventh after putting the Brew Crew in a 6-1 hole. Heck, I'd be pretty ticked off too if my starting pitcher allowed six earned to the Redlegs. The Brewers shame spiral starts early this year, folks!

The Vegetarian Menace
Five Tool Tool - The Sports Blog That Loves You Back —
Now, when you look at the following clip, you probably think it's just one more baseball slap fight. This one's in better video quality than most. Sure, you could put it in the teammate on teammate file with Manny Ramirez and Kevin Youkilis in Boston, Dioner Navarro and Matt Garza in Tampa Bay, and Michael Bennett and Carlos Zambrano in Chicago. Those are just the ones off the top of my head; I'm sure there hav been others. But what's really going on here is Fielder giving in to the inevitable homicidal rage that takes over all vegetarians. From Hitler to McCartney, as well as the classic passive ...
The Battlin’ Brewers
The Big Lead —
A depressing morning: Still no word on what caused the dugout fracas last night. For what it’s worth: Parra is 6-foot-3, 208; Fielder is 5-11, 270. Holyfield-Foreman? Though neither attended Notre Dame, perhaps they were arguing over the Jimmy Clausen photos? Maybe Fielder just hates Canadians?
Still got the Brewers taking the division. Thirteen more for them against Pitt and Washington; the Cubs close with 12 straight against Milwaukee, St. Louis, and then at the Mets and Brewers.
Prince Doesn't Play Nice With Others

By now, you've likely seen it, but a 275-pounder psuhing a teammate in the head never gets old, so here ya go:

How ugly was last night's third inning? Was it as ugly as a velvet Elvis painting, as Patrick Saunders believes?
via img100.imageshack.us
Actually, isn't it possible that Cook saw a velvet Elvis painting in the stands, causing him to commit the error in the third inning?
At least Cook's taking responsibility: "I knew I was going to have to try to battle through it and try to get the ball down," Cook said. "I just didn't execute." There were far too many line drives off Cook last night, and look at the results.
If you want to know what the Rockies ...
Nice push fight, sissies
desipio.com —
Remember last May when Carlos Zambrano beat the crap out of Michael Barrett in the Cubs’ dugout and two days later the Cubs started a hot streak that led them to the NL Central title?
Well, the Brewers tried to re-enact that late last season when Manager Ned Yost got into a fight with corpulent catcher Johnny Estrada. It didn’t work. But hey, why not try it again? This time it was Prince Fielder shoving pitcher Manny Parra in the dugout in Cincinnati. It took half a dozen Brewers to restrain the excitable Fielder who is a lap band away from 300 pounds.
There are a couple of reasons why this sissy push fight is more a sign of ...
The Milwaukee Brewers are having a good week
OUT OF RIGHT FIELD —
It's not going very well for the Brewers right now. They were swept in a 4 game series by the Cubs. They went from tied for first to 5 games back in a matter of 5 days. Now, they're fighting each other. Ned Yost made some sense after the game: “It’s not a big deal,” Yost said. “For eight months a year, we’re a family. At times things happen, flare up, but it’s between the family. It’s in the family. “It’s a little bit rude when your neighbors are fighting next door for you to go knock on the door and ask what happened. We handle it ourselves. It’s between us and it’s ...
The Brewers Imploding Late In The Season? That's Odd [MLB]
Deadspin —
Well, it's the first week in August; time for the annual scuffle that marks the beginning of the end for the Milwaukee Brewers. Last year it was manager Ed Yost and catcher Johnny Estrada going at it. And one year later almost to the day, Prince Fielder pounces on pitcher Manny Parra in the dugout and has to be physically restrained (video following the jump). Reds win, 6-3. See you next August, Brewers' fans! From the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel: If what I heard was correct, Parra was getting ready to leave the dugout after being removed from the game and Fielder took exception to that, with the Brewers batting in the top ...
Fielder, Parra Brawl In Brewers Dugout Brouhaha
SPORTSbyBROOKS —
Do you remember the other professional team that plays in Wisconsin? The one that doesn’t have Brett Favre? The team that was tied for the NL Central lead with the Cubs on July 26 before getting swept? Is any of this ringing a bell?
Well, the Brewers found a way to get some attention last night, even if it was for all the wrong reasons. On their way to a 6-3 loss to the Reds on Monday night, pitcher Manny Parra and first baseman Prince Fielder got into a shoving match in the dugout. And by “shoving match”, I mean “mauling”.
(Video ...
Ned Yost Says Ignore Spousal Abuse
Hugging Harold Reynolds —
Let's say you have a neighbor. Let's say you witness that neighbor bum rush and pummel his spouse. Ned Yost thinks you best mind your own damn business. By now you've seen the highlights of Prince Fielder going after Manny Parra. If you haven't, here you go... What really struck me was the asinine analogy the Brewer's coach associated the in-dugout attack with. "It's not a big deal. For eight months a year, we're a family. At times things happen, flare up, but it's between the family. It's in the family. It's a little bit rude when your neighbors are fighting next ...

About That Brewers "Scuffle"
Boiled Sports —
For those who missed Sportscenter or Baseball Tonight last night, here's what happened in the Brewers dugout with the Brewers down 6-1 and pitcher Manny Parra out of the game. Now, whatever caused this, it's pretty clear that Parra wanted nothing to do with Fielder, who looked kind of crazy as he was being restrained there. Fielder is already known for being at odds with his father and won't even speak to him -- kind of dramatic. He also became a vegetarian before the season. So maybe Manny Parra just looked delicious. Regardless, Prince, if you're going to start a fight, why would you slap at him? What is this, a prep school ...

VIDEO: Milwaukee Brewers Hold Their Annual Dugout Scuffle
EveryJoe » Sports Rumors —
Check out this shove-shove-hey-somebody-restrain-Prince-Fielder footage from last night’s Milwaukee Brewers-Cincinnati Reds game (23s). The testy Brewers lost 6-3, and we’re pretty sure Prince Fielder was taking out his frustrations on starting pitcher and donor of 6 runs Manny Parra.
On August 2, 2007 Brewers manager Ned Yost, catcher Johnny Estrada, and infielder Tony Graffanino got physical in the dugout.
The question is, who will carry the torch? Who can the Brewers count on to continue wear the Dugout Crankypants ...
Without Further Delay, Mr. Cole Hamels
The700Level.com - Philly Sports & Minutiae —
The rains have held out so far today, and it looks like the Phils will get started at 3:55 as scheduled. Cole Hamels got an extra day of rest out of last night's delay, and he'll face lefty Manny Parra. Parra has just two wins since July 20th, with five losses in that time. His numbers aren't terrible, with an ERA just over 4 and a WHIP right at 1.50 in his first full ...
Tuesday Night’s Alright For Fighting
LEEInks —
Last night, Guillermo Mota hit Milwaukee’s Prince Fielder in the thigh during the 9th inning of a 17-4 Dodgers win. Sounds harmless enough, right?
Well, if it weren’t for several teammates and Dodger Stadium security guards, Fielder would’ve gone after Mota into the Dodger clubhouse. In one of the more unbelievable alibis in recent memory, Fielder told reporters that “he was just going to talk to Mota.”
(A footnote is in order here: Mota was a member of the Sox for a brief period of time in 2005-06, when he was acquired in the Josh Beckett/Mike Lowell/Hanley Ramirez trade and then spun to Cleveland in the ...
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Milwaukee Brewers Blog - Bernie's Crew —
Last Night - 8 IP, 17 ER.
Tonight - 9 IP, 1 ER.
Which pitching staff will show up? Tonight, it was Dr. Jekyll. Last night, it was Mr. Hyde. This question will decide the rest of the Brewers' season. When Brewers' pitchers keep their pitch counts low and remain efficient with their pitches they will win games. Manny Parra and Braden Looper did a phenomenal job this series of keeping the ball low in the zone and leaning on their defense to make the plays they are expected to make.
On the other hand, Yovani Gallardo decided to try to strike out batters out ...
