To say that Marty Brennaman doesn't like Chicago Cubs fans would be a bit of an understatement. Here's the audio from the Chicago Tribune of Marty Brennaman taking Cubs fans to task for throwing like 20 balls onto the field after a huge Adam Dunn home run at Wrigley Field. I'm not exactly sure what bug crawled up Brennaman's rear during the game, but he is appalled by that...very much so...and he wants you listeners out there to know it. I'm still trying to figure what was happening during this audio clip, but apparently some Cubs fans are throwing multiple balls onto the field and Marty Brennaman is none to happy with them..... Man that escalated quickly didn't it? It's okay to say the fans are annoying at times, but saying that's why you "hope they lose" on-air is a bit unprofessional. Brennamania baby! Cubs fans have been known as being very obnoxious for years. Just ask Steve Bartman. The only fans that are worse are probably Red Sox fans but either way, Cincinnati Reds broadcaster Marty Brennaman was not ashamed at all to speak his mind on how he feels about Sox fans. LoL! So I tuned in to watch last night's game as I usually do on my mlb.tv. That generally means the home team broadcasters. That also usually means a healthy dose of Cubs bashing.
