Check Out Tulane RB Matt Forte’s Highlights
In Need Of A Backfield Boost: As Draft Day nears, whispers have a way of sneaking out from Halas Hall, with the “Make or Break” weekend in April (26-27) approaching, GM Jerry Angelo (whether you believe the reports: Cancel Rashard, Insert New Plan, RB In 3rd Round) says the focus/desire to select a RB in the 1st round ahead of an Offensive Lineman has diminished with the on-going (more private workouts scheduled April 3) development of a certain Tulane ...
Please Get Matt Forte In The Second Round
BOLTHYPE - The San Diego Chargers Blog —
Never mind the fact that Matt Forte dominated Conf. USA, the dude is a straight baller! Over 2000 rushing yards his senior season. Senior Bowl invitee who goes on the earn Offensive MVP of the game. Finance major who also earned Student-Athlete of the Year in 2007. Catches the ball out of the backfield with the best of them. A more than capable blocker. 6'1" 221lbs with room to grow and runs a 4.4 forty. His running style reminds me of...wait for it...Adrian Peterson! Kind of an upright runner who gets north and south in a hurry. Has nice wiggle but is always looking to run straight ahead as soon as possible. The Broncos would love this guy. ...

His forte is to run yo ass over. So far in our Who the hell will they draft 2008 series, we've profiled 3 offensive linemen, 3 defensive ends, 1 defensive tackle, 1 tight end, 1 wide receiver, and 1 running back. With the draft 4 weeks away, that gives ...
MATT FORTE HIGHLIGHT REEL
Zoner Sports —
Here he is, the Bears’ new RB. Jerry Angelo sure loves him some backs that already have a lot miles on them. He may have run a 4.45 at the combine–but tell me–do you see anything resembling that in these highlights?

SB Nation Mock Draft 2008: We got Forte
stampedeblue.com 4/23/2008 —
Well, it looks like the Dolphins and the Jaguars made Shake n Bake's decision easy. At pick #59, Shake made the obvious (and best) choice, Matt Forte . Here's Shake's explanation why he chose Forte: Joseph Addai performs best in a RB tandem, he split time his whole college career and the Colts won the Super Bowl while pairing him with Dom Rhodes. Unfortunately Kenton Keith doesn't have the ...

The Chicago Sun Times and Rotoworld report that Matt Forte, the second round draft pick of the Chicago Bears, may be the team's starting tailback in 2008.

The 3rd String Safety
Waiting for my Dinner: Philadelphia Trades to Minnesota - Tyrell Johnson: A small school safety who could play corner in the cover-2. May be a bit overrated. Chicago - Matt Forte: A solid RB/FB guy kinda like Brian Leonard last season.
Matt Miller gives us a B; I wanted a C —
Stampede Blue
Mocking the Draft's head writer and New Era Scouting god Matt Miller gave us a "B" for drafting Matt Forte' with the 59th pick in the 2008 SB Nation Mock Draft. Here's Matt's comments: An interesting, and surprising, pick from Indianapolis. The Kenton Keith arrest record is dangerously exciting, and the team has shown before their belief in a two-back set. The Colts have so few needs that ...
