For some reason, FOX thinks that a normal rundown of a team’s lineup just won’t do. That’s where Chicago Cub pitcher, Matt Murton, comes in.
To be fair, Aramis “One of the more consistent hitters in the league” Ramirez is pretty damn catchy.
Also featured reading a line up on FOX this afternoon was New York Knicks’ draftee, Danilo Gallinari. Gallinari read one of the lineups at the beginning of the Mets-Yankees game. The young Italian’s reading was nearly as awkward, but at least he’s got an excuse. ...

The Cubs didn't come away with a victory on the South Side Saturday afternoon, but they did manage to entertain. I guess because Fox Sports deems reading a lineup card to be too boring, they managed to get Matt Murton to spice it up by throwing in completely random individual nicknames.
Geovany "Possible rookie of the year and starting All-Star game catcher" Soto just rolls off the tongue doesn't it? Absolutely.
And if totally random nicknames being read off by Murton didn't do it for you, Kerry Wood managed get caught on ...
