Mercury Morris Seems Like A Fun Guy

Chris Berman sat down with Bob Griese and Mercury Morris of the 1972 Dolphins last night during Countdown and in case you missed it Morris was a show. "Every husband needs a wife."- Mercury Morris How do you like that Pats fans? I actually take it all back. I hope the Pats go undefeated and shut this asshat up.
Mercury Morris Makes the Patriots Win More Tolerable

Since we should start preparing ourselves for a New England Patriots 19-0 undefeated season, I thought this video of Mercury Morris on Monday Night Countdown would help you swallow the pill.
These '72 Dolphins are far more annoying than Patriots fans. Far. They aren't even the best team in football history (pick a 70's Steelers team, '89 49ers, '85 Bears ... you name it).
"Every husband needs a wife."
Thanks AA again for the video.
Commitment to Mediocrity

Every year, I do my NFL Franchise Rankings , and it amazes me how pitiful the Detroit Lions have remained year after year, decade after decade since the 1950’s. It is a mentality of losing, and it is showing no sign of changing… Roy Williams wants to come back to Texas … Neither player will say it publicly, but two of Detroits best offensive players -- receiver Roy Williams and running back Kevin Jones -- are counting the days until they can leave Detroit. While the losing seasons have taken their toll on the two ...
'72 Dolphins RB Mercury Morris Doesn't Seem to Think Highly of the 2007 Patriots
Published 12/5/2007 by Michael David Smith at FanHouse
Filed under: Dolphins, Patriots, Boston, MiamiMercury Morris was a pretty good running back for the Miami Dolphins, and 1972, when the team went undefeated, was his best season. But as entertaining as it was to watch him run, it's much more entertaining to watch him discuss the 2007 Patriots and their prospects of going undefeated: Morris thinks the Patriots joining the Dolphins as an undefeated team is like a wife joining a husband. I don't even know what that means, but I'm pretty sure it was intended as an insult. Video via Awful ...
MERCURY MORRIS STILL GIGANTIC DOUCHEBAG
Published 12/5/2007 at With Leather
It was bad enough that Mercury Morris running his mouth on the golf course made me want the Patriots to go 19-0. After this appearance on Countdown, the Pats going undefeated isn't enough. Now I need for the Pats to go 19-0, AND have Mercury Morris get his genitals caught in a waffle iron. And beaten to death with a tire iron. Preferably on national TV. Hell, I'd get HBO for that. Miami Dolphins Continue Descent Into the 9th Circle of Hell

As bad as things have been for the Falcons the last few days, they still come a distant second to the Dolphins for worst NFL season of the year. (You want a tough job? Try being in charge of putting together their team highlight real at NFL Films…)
Not only are the Dolphins 0-13, but they seem to be getting progressively WORSE. In their first 11 games, the Dolphins lost 6 of them by only three points. But they’ve lost their last two games by a combined score of 78-30. After coughing up the football a unbelievable eight times against the Bills on Sunday, Dolphins left tackle Vernon ...

But it was definitely NOT easy! Give credit to the New York Giants; they brought their A game and were up by 12 points in the 3rd quarter (the highest deficit the Patriots faced all season). But right after Brady & Moss failed to connect on a long pass in the fourth quarter, they connected on a 65-yard TD strike that gave New England the lead, and gave both Tom Brady and Rand Moss the record for TDs in a season at their positions (50 and 23, respectively).
Some more notes from an amazing finish to a historic regular season:
- In total, the Patriots set or tied a stunning eight NFL ...
