Michael Strahan Stomps Out The Patriots At Giants Championship Parade
Published 2/6/2008 at FanIQ Blog
Shaquille O'Neal used to set the bar for victory parade speeches. He can no longer lay claim to that imaginary title. Here's Michael Strahan yesterday in front of Town Hall. "We STOMP you OUT!" Is there any doubt this guy may have one of the most successful post playing careers of any athlete? There bidding has already began for Strahan's services, whenever that time may come. Where would you like to see him end up? Pretty sure ESPN will have an opening.

Chris Pronger Avoids Suspension By Being A Star
Published 3/14/2008 by Christmas Ape at SPORTSbyBROOKS
It’s a shame Anaheim Ducks defender Chris Pronger isn’t in the NFL, as he’d fit right in with the Giants’ “ Stompin’ You Out ” mentality, to say nothing of Albert Haynesworth . Apparently, the NHL had no problem with his stomping on Vancouver Canucks center Ryan Kesler on Wednesday, opting not to take any disciplinary against Pronger. Those looking for consistency in their dispensation of penalties might be a little flummoxed by this development, what with the New York Islanders’ Chris Simon getting a 30-game suspension for a similar stomp on the Penguins’ Jarkko Ruutu . But he’s not an all-star! Nuts to him! ...

President Bush Welcomes Giants, Threatens to Send Jessica Simpson on Covert Op
Published 5/2/2008 by Ryan Wilson at FanHouse
Filed under: NY Giants, NFL FansOn Wednesday, the New York Giants paid a visit to the White House, one of the perks that come with winning the Super Bowl. The event, held on the South Lawn, was as you might expect: President Bush praised the Giants for their accomplishments, cracked a few lame jokes in the process, and the newly married Eli Manning managed to look as dopey as ever. Ironically, thanks to Al Gore, you can view the proceedings in all their moving-pictures magnificence from your computer: Keen observations, all of them. ...
