Winning a World Series title wasn't quite enough to garner the Phillies the top billing in the latest edition of MLB 09 The Show. The Fightins are ranked 4th overall, behind the Red Sox, Yankees, and Cubs, respectively. The Mets came in at 5th. Apparently they don't heavily weight the choking metric. In the batting category, the Phils slip to 5th, with the Indians jumping into the top 4. Then there's the pitching category... which sees the Phillies at 10th. Guess that 3.88 team ERA was good enough for 6th best in the majors last year, but it's not better than the Reds in pixelated form (2008 Reds ERA: 4.55). The game rates the Phils ...
