The King is dead, long live The City
Bullets Forever —
This is what happens when you leave Nick Young out of the slam dunk contest:
The City Gets Snubbed, Dunks on LeBron
Mr. Irrelevant —
Despite our best efforts, Nick Young isn’t in the Dunk Contest, and I can’t say I have a problem with that. Jamario Moon is nasty, Rudy Gay is a bigger name, Gerald Green is the champ and Dwight Howard is the top contender. Plus, the Wizards rookie already posterized LeBron this week (still pic), and that’s enough for me.

Bullets @ Cavs preview & injury update
MVN RSS —
Caron Butler, Antawn Jamison and Antonio Daniels all participated in the morning shoot-around and are expected to play against the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Phone Booth tonight. The Cavs might be a bit short-handed themselves.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Sasha Pavlovic and Daniel Gibson have been out and the word is that Ben Wallace may not play tonight either (back spasms).
Lebron James has really taken over this year and become the best basketball player in the world. Even if Cleveland is missing some of its complementary players, the Bullets will need everything they’ve got from everyone they’ve ...
Gilbert Arenas Goes Backwards: Washington Wizards vs. Milwaukee Bucks
Truth About It - Washington Wizards Blog —
Like one of those so-called cool movies (not that I know an actual example), this is a tale that will be told backwards. It may turn disaster just like this Wizards game, but that would be fitting. The last play must bat lead-off. Frustrating, unnecessary mistakes, such as the one committed by Gilbert Arenas will keep the Washington Wizards from being a contender. Oh yea....that whole Curse O'.....(I won't type it this time) - Gil comes back and three Wizards get hurt ...
Antawn Jamison Dunks on Kevin Garnett
Mr. Irrelevant —
I’ve lavished a lot of praise on Wiz stars Gilbert and Caron, and even rookies Nick Young and O-Pech, but, after posting 27 and 11 to beat Boston for the third time, let’s shine a light on the team MVP, Mr. Jamison. Here he is, uncharacteristically dunking on KG:
Posterized, son! Not quite NY on LeBron, but still. Dunking isn’t what Antawn does, so this one is special.
As it stands, the Wiz are one game up on Philly for the No. 5 seed with four to play. Here’s to hoping they hang on, because a fully loaded rematch ...
Pollin': Play of the Year
Bullets Forever —
The Wizards might not produce the number of highlights that you'd see with teams like Phoenix and Denver and Golden State, but there were still a lot of great plays from this season from several different players

Nick Young: Washington Wizards Player Evaluation
Truth About It - Washington Wizards Blog —
Round 4 of the 07-08 Wizards player evaluations......(the previous entries are: Etan Thomas, Oleksiy Pecherov & Dominic McGuire). My thoughts are below, be sure and head to Bullets Forever for complete coverage from the Pradamaster and JakeTheSnake. ---------------------- Some call Nick Young The City, but he'll always be the Bean Burrito to me......and to him I suppose since Nick gave himself that AKA. It seems like I got on the kid like a disappointed father ...
LeBron James Steals Passes and Tapes
Talk Hoops - Support the Habit —
We all know how prolific LeBron James is at shooting the passing lanes with the closing speed of Deion Sanders to pluck the ball out of mid-air and turn it into a SportsCenter Top 10 clip. I mean, it's really quite incredible to watch the entire thing happen, almost in slow motion, while in real life it probably takes no more than three or four seconds before he punctuates the play with a tomahawk exclamation. But when he gets dunked on by a college player at a Nike Basketball Skills Camp that he's hosting, he's even better at stealing things. This comes from a Wizards Extreme Forum that was passed along through the Truth About ...
