Johan Santana’s first press conference as a member of the Mets is at 12:15 this afternoon, and apparently you can watch it live thanks to the wonder of the Interweb. But hey, we’re not looking back. I realize it's extremely difficult to get any baseball news that doesn't involve HGH and/or Congress and/or Roger Clemens, but you may have heard that the Rangers hired Nolan Ryan as their team president.
Really, I have no thoughts on the hiring because I know nothing about the Rangers, other than their clubhouse in the '90s seems to have been a breading ground for much of the steroids B.S. we're dealing with now.
