Time For Schools to Whore Themselves Out to ESPN
College Hoops Journal — Let’s be real: ESPN put its cameras behind the bubble team that is the Oklahoma Sooners with the perception that they’d beat Nebraska and have a nice little piece of video to show how a team really comes together amidst the craziness of this month. Well, Oklahoma lost, and it makes for a much better segment. It’s a few days old, but it’s a good watch. Jeff Capel looks an eventual big-time coach. Time to get ready for all of the all access goodness!

Why the Oklahoma Sooners have seemed so motivated recently
The Dagger — Someone called them soft: The video's a few days old, but I think it has greater impact now than it would have a couple of games ago. Capel apparently pushed the right buttons with that "soft" business. As a player, there aren't many criticisms worse than being soft. I wouldn't have guessed that any D-1 coach would show that much restraint in leveling the "soft" criticism.
