March Madness: Best Day of the Year

Is there any debate? OK, MLB Opening Day is outstanding (but not when it snows as scheduled here in Chicago), as is NFL/NCAA, but if forced to single out one of these it's got to be the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. Since 4th or 5th grade I had the good fortune of my dad always writing a doctor's note on this day "... will be leaving for an appt at 12:00. Unfortunately, he will not be returning the rest of the day. Tomorrow he has another appt in the afternoon. Thanks."

Ah yes, the glorious memories. And every year around this time it's nearly impossible to relive the nostalgia. 'Twas quite the run for the Spartans and it put Izzo and the program on the map. Amidst the riots and drunken celebrations a tradition was born; Spartan Basketball.
