Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician —
Charlie Weis has some fun with the Daily Orange's correspondant during his Tuesday presser:
A soundless shot of the Syracuse cheerleaders and Otto? Why not:
SU recruit Dion Waiters throws down a nasty dunk:
And finally, if you're like me you've been eagerly anticipating Kenny Haas' reaction to the Greg Robinson firing. Kenny does not disappoint. Neither does that shot of DOCTOR Gross in a cheese(?) dunce ...
What Happens In Press Conferences
Irish Insights | Journal Gazette —
Published: November 20, 2008 10:17 p.m. What Happens In Press Conferences It has now appeared on YouTube, and although ASAP Sports took it out of the official Saturday transcript, it's worth mentioning here on Insights, especially since one of those involved here is, well, me. For those who don't know, I went to Syracuse. It's a fact that Charlie Weis is aware of as are most of the other people on the Notre Dame beat. I do not root for Syracuse. I do not really care what happens to the Orange (although the removal of -men and -women from the nickname is still worrisome and embarrassing. An Orange? Really? At least Cornell is the Big ...
Things Are Relaxed This Week Around Notre Dame
The Wiz of Odds —
A week ago, all the talk centered on Charlie Weis' job being on the line if Notre Dame were to lose to Navy. It didn't happen, and now with everybody's favorite punching bag Syracuse coming to South Bend, it's time for fun and games. Weis first pokes fun at Fort Wayne Journal Gazette writer Michael Rothstein, a Syracuse grad, then has fun with a reporter from the Daily Orange, the Syracuse student newspaper. Brian Hamilton of the Chicago Tribune joins the fun, getting in a jab at Rothstein.
