Oveckin Get A Game Misconduct

Ovechkin was assessed a five-minute major and a game misconduct for boarding Buffalo’s Patrick Kaleta 3:38 into the third period.
According to the league rulebook, Ovechkin was hit with the major penalty at the official’s discretion, but an injury to the head or face on a major infraction is grounds for an automatic ejection. Kaleta left the ice holding his nose, and Ovechkin tossed his glove in the air in frustration as he went to the dressing room.

Early in the 3rd period of tonight’s Capitals/Sabres game Alexander Ovechkin received a 5 minute major and a game misconduct after hitting Sabres forward Patrick Kaleta into the boards.

Was the right call made?
Looks to me like he hit Kaleta in the shoulder and that sent him head into the boards.
Does anyone think he will be fined or suspended… personally I don`t but the play is fairly close to what James Neal did last week.
