After batting practice at the Phillies annual “Phantasy Camp” in Clearwater, Florida, Milt Thompson bet the camp-goers that he could swing and knock a baseball off of a tee placed 90 feet away from his.
The stakes? If Thompson failed, he would pick up all the baseballs from batting practice. If successful, the camp attendees would have to clean up.

I’ve often thought the notion of a “fantasy camp” was a bit weird. For instance, there’s one blogger I know whose personal fantasy would probably revolve around abducting Kirsten Dunst from rehab rather than watching Greg Luzinski adjust his sliding shorts, yet there’s no camp that caters to said author’s particular tastes.
