X’s & O’s of Basketball — ESPN's Bill Raftery breaking down Wisconsin's Swing Offense in the win over Virginia Tech last night. Isn't motion offense just a beauty to watch? It's really like watching a great play, with all the actors moving with a purpose. I It takes a lot of self-discipline to have everyone completely buy in to a motion-based offense, because everyone must do their part or the system breaks down. I can just imagine that Bo Ryan runs a tight practice, that kind of discipline must be conditioned. If your players can completely buy in to a system like the Swing Offense, than motion is the way to go.
