Boston did a few things well last night: the Big Three combined for 75 points, shot close to 50% as a team and outrebounded Detroit. What they did not do well was play their customary, tight, in your face defense.
Wait, I take that back, they did play a little 'in your face' defense. It just wasn't the type that accomplishes anything more than a lazy foul.
Late in the third quater, Rajon Rondo provided his interpretation of 'faceguarding,' which is technically allowed, assuming you don't actually put your hand on the guy's face.
