Ballin’: Rockets’ Streak Over at 22
The Big Lead — Awesome night in the NBA. Some of these games deserve their own post. The Shaq video at the bottom is awesome. Boston 94, Houston 74: On a night you’d expect the Celtics - still without Ray Allen - to collapse in the second half, it was the Rockets who lacked liftoff after the break, and Boston pulled away to end Houston’s 22-game winning streak. Leon Powe added 21 off the bench for Boston. Will be interesting to see where the Rockets go from here: their next three are on the road against New Orleans, Golden State and Phoenix. Streak this, indeed. Los Angeles Lakers 102, Dallas 100: ...

Shhh: Phoenix Suns Win 5th in Row, Blazers Wake Up Shaq
FanIQ Blog — Now that we can officially forget about the Houston Rockets, although I thank them for an entertaining run, it's time to discuss those teams who still have a chance to win the NBA Finals. NBA Leaderboard, Part XVIII
20secondtimeout.blogspot.com 3/19/2008 — Some people may have laughed when I said that the acquisition of Shaq makes the Suns a more dangerous team but now that the Suns are within one game of first place in the Western Conference I doubt that any Western Conference coaches are very amused about the idea of facing them in a seven game series.
