Spurs' road woes continues...
Spurs Basketball — "We committed too many mistakes from the get-go, It's too bad. It shouldn't be happening. We've really got to step out and try to play 48 minutes." Ginobili said. That line says it all, the Spurs remain winless on the road as the Trail Blazers jumped on them early; then hold on for a 96-84 victory at the Rose Garden. Brandon Roy scored 24 points, Steve Blake had 15 points and 6 rebounds, and Greg Oden added 14 points, 8 boards and 4 blocks for the Blazers. Andre Iguodala’s Massive Dunk Over Courtney Lee
Tirico Suave — Andre Iguodala is all over the web this weekend, first with a trick shot during practice and now this video, in which he channels his inner Dominique in order to make Courtney Lee feel even worse about playing for the Nets. And while I have your attention, Richard Jefferson’s dunk over Greg Oden last night wasn’t too shabby either.

This Week In San Antonio Spurs Basketball: Late Saturday Edition
Pounding The Rock —   Okay, so this one's late. We had a SEGABABA going into the weekend so this was moved to avoid distraction, and again to provide an avenue for us to drown our sorrows with each loss.  Still, lots of good links and music, with a special contribution by our resident Fish Man, Hipuks, after the jump. ...

Game Preview #6: Toronto Raptors @ San Antonio Spurs
Pounding The Rock —   The Maglev has left the station.  You'd better get used to it, Findog. After the last 2 games went horribly awry, the Spurs need a win to tread water.  Let me just say it up front:  I think they'll get that win tonight.  But how will it go down?  That's why we watch. Join us after the jump for your preview. In the last game, we learned that the new-look Spurs are capable of playing defense, thanks in large part to the efforts of Keith Bogans. Pop started the Bogeyman, who hounded Brandon Roy defensively early in the game, and even managed to hit half his shots ...

Dime Magazine — Over the weekend, Richard Jefferson served up one of the meanest dunks of the season so far at the expense of Greg Oden . But it was the Oden and the Blazers who got the last laugh, beating the Spurs 96-84 on Friday.

Jefferson-Spurs: Chemistry Problem?
pointsinthepaint.com 23 days ago — I was holding off with my comments regarding Richard Jefferson 's poor first-game performance and was chalking it up to an easy, blow-out game that did not require him to really show-up.
