That’s Robbie Fowler pulling off a gymnastic Chuck Norris move in an A-League match to kick Gold Coast United’s Anderson in the face in the 85th minute of his North Queensland side’s 5-0 loss on Saturday.
Despite the awesomely vicious nature of this impressive maneuver, Fowler did not get booked, nor did he get punished afterward by the match review panel because the referee ruled that it did not warrant punishment.
That referee? The guy who says “finish him” in Mortal Kombat.

Watch as Robbie Fowler attempts to decapitate his opponent and then marvel at the way the striker didn’t even get a caution! Boy Australian Football must have a whole set of different rules when it comes to cautions and red cards. Perhaps if he HAD removed the player’s head then he would have earned a yellow?

..if you happen to be standing on your head while doing so.Robbie Fowler found this loophole in the book of rules.He kicked out at Gold Coast United midfielder Anderson and got him on the chest.But he was upside down at the time.So all he got from the ref was a disapproving look and the game went on.
