Another game, another victory for the Houston Rockets. They are now within a game of both San Antonio and the Lakers in the jam packed Western Conference. 19 wins and they are facing Atlanta and Charlotte before they have a Sunday showdown with the Lakers in a game that could very well give them the top spot in the West if things go their way. Any way you look at it, this run has been impressive.

YouTube gold: Who wants to imitate Dikembe Mutombo?

The Rockets sure are having a lot of fun in Houston these days. But I guess that's expected when you own the third-best winning streak in NBA history and keep crushing teams by double digits. While it's impossible to try and pick a favorite from the bunch -- honestly, that was incredible -- I'd probably combine Shane Battier's Yoda-voice with Aaron Brooks' fingers and Steve Novak's passion if I had to build my ideal Deke impersonation.
Houston Rockets Imitate Dikembe, '00 Lakers

Probably the only thing more amusing than hearing Dikembe Mutombo speak, is listening to his teammates try and impersonate him. The Houston Rockets gave it a try this week.
I don't know about you, but of all people, I agree with the FSN anchor in believe Steve Novak did the best job. Bobby Jackson's is funny because I'm pretty sure he was just drunk ... and not cookie monster drunk.
The Rockets took their imitation routine to the floor last and won their 19th straight. The last team to do that was the '00 Los Angeles Lakers with Kobe and Shaq. We ...

Let's kick things off with a hilarious video of almost everyone on the roster doing their impression of Cookie Monster sound-alike Dikembe Mutumbo. It's also worth noting that though it may be a few months late, someone has finally gone 19-0. Better know your streaking Rockets and meet Luis Scola, who has really stepped it up after Yao's injury. Hilarious, hilarious impressions. As the Rockets continue to win without any regard for the records of their opponents, it appears that they’re having quite a bit of fun. I’m a fan of basketball, but I’m not a basketball fan, does that make sense? What I mean is while I love the game in all it’s forms – except U.S. college – I don’t easily relate to those who live and die with the fortunes of the Raptors, for example, and invest a lot of time and money into showing their support. I appreciate them, as it keeps me working, theoretically, but laying out big wads of cash for games is not something I did commonly before I took up this gig and likely won’t be doing whenever it comes to an end. But many people do. And many people really, truly, deeply care about the fortunes of the Raptors. And it is that ...
