Rodney Rogers: “Rogers, who lives in the Triangle, suffered serious injuries in an all-terrain vehicle crash Friday night in Vance County. Friends say his condition is uncertain and that he may have suffered some paralysis.” Rogers had a rough life - grew up with no Dad, in the housing projects, brother in jail, a deaf sister, mom in a coma after a car accident, four attempts at the SAT - to star at Wake Forest and become a nice role player in the NBA for a decade. Big fan of his work, and wishing him a speedy recovery. (WRAL)

I’ve always had a bit of a man-crush on Rodney Rogers. I even “met” him once.
As I’m sure everyone has heard, Rogers was injured in an ATV accident over the weekend and there are reports of paralysis. Keep the Monster Mash in your thoughts or prayers or whathaveyou. He’s a Suns great and more importantly, a helluva nice guy.
