Box Score. Game Flow. Post Recap. Times Recap. Live Blog. Les Bullez. DC Pro Sports Report. Green Bandwagon's Game Preview, and no, Songaila has never done that since coming here. CelticsBlog, with a simple, but effective recap. Highest Plus/Minus: Darius Songaila (+7) Lowest Plus/Minus: Brendan Haywood (0) Wow. There are about a million different understatements I could use to describe how big that win was but I think I'll stick with wow.  Of course, it's not a win that's really going to matter in the long run, ...

Roy Hibbert Get's It Done
Published 1/13/2008 by The Sports Diva at TSD Magazine
Yesterday was somewhat of a good day in college basketball. Somewhat because the Buckeye's lost :( We won't dwell into that right now though. The good things were Kentucky FINALLY getting a solid win and then there was Roy Hibbert. Of course big men have showed that they can knock the 3 down but coming from Hibbert, it wasn't expected. That is why it was so classic. If you missed it or just want to see it again, enjoy!

Blind Prognostication: Monday's Picks
Published 1/14/2008 by jtom at Super, Scintillating and Sarcastic
Because the best way to feign actual knowledge on a subject is an accurate prediction, I introduce the Picks. Every weekday (hopefully) I will pick the televised games of the night, against the spread of course, and follow the results to see if I actually know something about basketball. The results should be both entertaining (for readers) and soul-crushing (for me). And if I'm wrong, I'll just do what all the TV "experts" do: never bring it up again and avoid all accountability. And since I won't be betting actual money (that often), I win every time! Georgetown (-1.5) at Pittsburgh- The Hoyas are only 5-6 against the spread this ...

Published 1/14/2008 at Deadspin
Jonah Keri writes the college basketball closer (more or less) daily. E-mail your questions, comments or Clarence Ceasar-related memories to jonahkeri@gmail.com. The Motivator. Facing Indiana for the first time in Eric Gordon's career after the superfrosh spurned Illinois to play for the Hoosiers, the Illini pulled out all the stops. That included the return of ZOOOK!!! The man who pisses intensity paid a surprise visit to the Illinois locker room before the game, urging Bruce Weber's charges to bring the hammer down on Gordon and the Hoosiers. "I want you to go out there and play like animals!" Zook spat at the mesmerized players. ...

Georgetown Squeaks By UConn Men 72-69

A Roy Hibbert 3-pointer, just the 2nd of his career, with 4.2 seconds left in the game gave the #8 Georgetown Hoyas the 72-69 victory over the UConn Huskies in front of a packed house at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC. UConn had a chance to tie the game but Jerome Dyson lost the handle on the inbounds pass from Jeff Adrien to end the game.
