The high point in Butch Stearns' "reporting" career is doing live remotes from high school football games. This dude is a hack and one of the worst Boston sports media personalities out there. Doesn't being a local sports anchor get old after like 15 years?

FOX 25 needs work on their patriotism
Red Sox Monster — ... has the video: Now, call me old-fashioned, but I'm the kind of guy who still drops what I'm doing during the National Anthem, removing any hat and frequently placing my hand of my heart. I'm old-school like that. These clowns, on the other hand, are not. In fact, they pretty much blew through this whole thing with nary a mention until the end. News outlets, please consider these two options in the future: 1) Run commercials during said National Anthem. At least it would a ...

SOX & Dawgs — According to Butch Stearns of WFXT TV FOX 25 in Boston San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has a torn ACL and will attempt to play on it Sunday afternoon in Foxboro. The Chargers have reported the injury as a “sprained MCL” but according to a source Stearns claims the QB has the much more serious ACL tear. The source also told Stearns that it will severely limit Rivers side to side movement. Now for those of you who don’t know, Stearns is one of the biggest flaming idiots in all of Boston sports. Check that, in all of sports. This is the same moron who talked over the star spangled banner ...
