Yankees saw Jeter leave with an injury. The captain got drilled by a Cabrera fastball on the side of his left hand during the third inning. The X-rays were negative. Jeter has a contusion and is day-to-day. He had it wrapped afterward, but Jeter vowed that he would be back in the lineup tonight.
