History 101 With Nick Saban

I think we can all agree it was highly inappropriate for Nick Saban to compare losing to Mississippi State or Louisiana-Monroe to 9-11.
Saban should’ve compared the Tide’s struggles to the Holocaust.
And congrats to Skip Bayless for insisting “to his audience in Alabama, this is what they want to hear.” Are football fans around the rest of the country so much better at keeping things in perspective?
The Idiot File: Nick Saban

Rather than write what I want to say, I'll let the video speak for itself. Sorry, when anyone uses a tragic incident, war, or strife going on society to make a parable or corollary with sports, it's completely off base. Saban was just out of line on this issue, and he should apologize. If he can pontificate and run his mouth, he should be able to take the heat. It's too bad that fans who root for the Crimson Tide will find some way to excuse this. I hope someone in the University of Alabama hierarchy calls him out and tells him the way things should be, but I am not counting ...
