The Machine Strikes Back
Hardwood Paroxysm —
This is what happens when fans get creative. We almost like Vujacic at this point. Almost.
The return of Sasha 'The Machine' Vujacic
Ball Don't Lie —
These ridiculously idiosyncratic Sasha 'The Machine' Vujacic videos from Lakers-fans.com are quickly becoming my favorite part of the 2008 NBA Playoffs. This week, 'The Machine' talks about his dominating performance in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. Pump it up, indeed. Here's hoping that 'The Machine' takes time to address getting torched by 'Pinocchio' in Game 3. "How so wooden boy score 30 points on 'Machine'? Not possible."
Sasha "The Machine" Vujacic Was Ready For Game 1
FanIQ Blog —
Inconceivably, the folks at Lakers-fan.com have outdone themselves with volume two of Sasha "The Machine" Vujacic.
When we last saw him, Sasha was just standing around the three-point line waiting to miss threes. But "The Machine" was ready for Game 1 of the Western Finals.
He's not distracted by that silly man with bald spot ... at least not in Game 1. Game 3 on the other hand was a different story. We assume this Lakers fan site won't let him slide and we'll be eagerly awaiting the next installment.
By the way, watching Vujacic play has become infinitely ...

Sasha Vujacic is a machine
Hail Mary Jane —
Here is a very strange video I stumbled across today. It features the Lakers Sasha Vujacic and his evaluation of game 1 against the Spurs…. Well sort of.

Sasha “The Machine” Vujacic
BallerBlogger.com —
In honor of Sasha’s performance last night, I thought I’d share some of the video work of the guys over at Lakers-Fan.com. They’ve produced some hilarious parodies of Sasha, starring as “The Machine.”
An Open Letter to Sasha Vujacic
The Sometimes Daily Nug —
Dear Sasha,
How are you? Do I call The Machine or Sasha? Anyway, you are my favorite Laker, mainly because I know how much you are hated by anyone not wearing a Laker jersey. Boston guy thinks you are the anti-Christ. And basically anyone who is not; hitting a piñata right now, driving around with a ridiculous Laker flag on their car ...

RedsArmy.com - The Voice Of Celtics Fans —
All the mid-level guys who don’t think they’re mid-level guys are willing to leave the NBA to go make some bigger money in Europe. It doesn’t hurt that most of them are European. Add Sasha Vujacic to the mix (and if you read further in that piece… Ricky Davis is rumored to be ...
30 Previews In 30 Days: The Los Angeles Lakers [NBA Previews]
Deadspin —
NBA training camps have begun; the season is rapidly approaching. Can you dig it? I knew that you could. And so we continue our previews: 30 of them in 30 days. Up next is a team that you will be sick of hearing about by the end of the season (assuming you aren't already): The Los Angeles Lakers. When last we saw them: Finished 57-25, first in the Pacific Division and numero uno overall in the West. Made it all the way to the NBA Finals, where they were eliminated by the Boston Celtics in the league's first ever "six game sweep" (oh no, that's not going to motivate them at all...). They're ...
The 8 Weirdest Players in the NBA
Hail Mary Jane —
There is no sport that would be complete without strange players. It's like WWE without the heels. The Pacman Jones, Manny Ramirez, and Chris Simon's of the sports world make it way more interesting for all of us. Whether you love them or hate them, you can't help but feel some type of emotion for these guys.
With the NBA season just underway, here is a list of the weirdest players the NBA has offer this season.
8. Bruce "Lee" Bowen
Bruce Bowen is a lockdown defender. No one can doubt that but no one can doubt that he is one of the dirtiest players in the NBA. He is like ...
Games to pay attention to: Lakers vs. Hornets
Ball Don't Lie —
Los Angeles
at New Orleans
The second contest we should dote on is the Lakers' trip to New Orleans.
The Lakers played, and nearly lost, last night. They've had
a tough road trip, to be sure, but the team is really just a few inches away
from a 3-0 run. A few game-winners spin in against the Heat and Magic, and the
outlook has changed considerably. This is why you have to be wary about taking
too much from close games.
The Hornets don't want a close game. They might get Peja
Stojakovic back. They want to put this team away early, and they're probably
hoping the Lakers might be looking forward to ...
