I just received an email from Jason Swain regarding a Sean Taylor tribute portrait he’s completed. Its currently hanging in the main atrium of the Children’s Hospital in Washington, and will be up until March 21st. Some of the proceeds of the sale of the painting will go to the Children’s Hospital. Portrait at DC Children’s Hospital honors Sean Taylor We received word that D.C. area artist Jason Swain completed a large portrait of former Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor that was unveiled at Children’s Hospital January 24, 2008. The portrait will remain on display in the hospital’s atrium until March 21. The 6 ft. by 5 ft. canvas will be sold with a portion of the proceeds to be donated to the foundation established for the benefit of Taylor’s daughter. Got an email from Jason. He has painted a tribute to Sean Taylor that will be on display at Children’s Hosptial in DC until March 21st when it will be sold and some of the proceeds will go to the hospital with any future proceeds from prints, etc. going to Taylor’s foundation.
