Sergio Garcia won The Players Championship yesterday, defeating Paul Goydos in the first hole of a sudden-death playoff. It was Garcia’s first tour victory since the 2005 Booz Allen Classic. (Which is a real tournament. I looked it up.) Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come - a harbinger of continued successes, if you will.
