The Pistons in Phoenix, set to take on the Shaq’d-up, West-leading Suns on the national stage. The game will air at 2:30 on ABC. Phoenix, coming off a big win against Boston, will have momentum. Luckily, the Pistons are pretty good on the road (18-10) and should make this a good one. Detroit will need to contain Shaq, but more importantly, Amare Stoudamire. The guy is ...Phoenix Suns’ Newest Monstrosity (No, Not Shaq)

HG of YOU BEEN BLINDED introduces us to the latest celebrity athlete’s ill-advised, pimped-out rig: That’s Shaq arriving at the Suns-C’s game last night. Announcer Mark Jones noted during the game telecast that apparently The Big Deserter’s rig was pressed into service after a previous, rather hefty vehicle-related transaction with teammate Amare Stoudemire. In a match up that the Phoenix Suns have completely dominated over the last few years, beating the Lakers in two consecutive playoffs series, Kobe Bryant and company may have finally surpassed Nash and now Shaq's Phoenix Suns. Tuesday night in Phoenix, the revamped Suns with addition of ex-Laker center Shaquille O'Neal took on the Kobe and the revamped Lakers with Pau Gasol in the middle. ...A Suns Fan's Guide to Shaq

After attending Shaq 's debut for the Phoenix Suns against the Lakers, I came away with a few perceptions of Suns' fans. The main thing I learned is, they're all very nice. Which is, you know ... nice, if you're there rooting for the road team as I happened to be. It doesn't create much of a home court advantage though. The building definitely had a playoff atmosphere, and Suns fans ...Shaq Doesn’t Do Much, Kobe Does A Lot

Whenever there’s a Kobe vs. Shaq sighting, it’s a good thing, unless, of course, Shaq is on the Heat, a team that hasn’t seen a win since the last time Miami saw some snow. With the big trade, going to the Western Conference leading Suns, the rivalry has been revived a bit. Shaq’s debut was last night , as the Phoenix Suns hosted the L.A. Lakers. He played 29 ...Shaq Debuts, Suns Lose

But, you can’t really blame that on the Shaq-fu. Instead, blame Kobe Bryant , Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom (and the Phoenix defense). The Lakers trio combined for 92 points while the Suns defense played like an absolute sieve. I’m not sure what Shaq could’ve done to stop the Lakers’ perimeter players, but he certainly didn’t hurt his new team’s offensive ...The Most Significant Trade Yet, Part II

Kurt Thomas to San Antonio is huge. Not as sexy as Pau to LA or Shaq to Phoenix, but he is still tough as nails, smart, and can step out and hit the mid-range jumper consistently. The three-headed combo him, Duncan and Oberto will provide awesome interior defense and now they can always have 2 bigs on the court together if needed to match up with Shaq/Amare or Bynum/Pau. Keeping him away from ...Phoenix Suns Reveal First Attempts To Clone Shaq [Nba Closer]

The NBA Closer is written by Matt McHale, who would use the power of Mighty Science to clone the pet turtle who died when he was 12, and probably Lynda Carter . When he's not fantasizing about a harem of Wonder Woman clones, he can be found manipulating DNA at Basketbawful . The Los Angeles Lakers welcomed the Phoenix Suns to town on Wednesday night. Of course, this was not just any game. This was Shaquille O'Neal's debut with the Suns, and Shaq/Kobe Bryant head-to-head. Kobe got the best of him this night, as he has in their previous head-to-heads since they parted ways in L.A. Speaking of heads, Shaq went completely bare on the head and the face in his debut, ...O'Neal looked like Shaq of old and sometimes just old

Los Angeles Times columnist Helene Elliott noted Shaquille O'Neal wrestled and writhed, diving for the ball all over the court and trying to squeeze a few more gallons of diesel from a body running as much on adrenaline as on muscle memory. In his first appearance as a member of the Phoenix Suns and first game since Jan. 21, O'Neal sometimes looked like the dominant Shaq of old. Sometimes he ...Shaq's First Appearance as a Phoenix Sun

Tonight Shaq played his first game with the Phoenix Suns, facing the Los Angeles Lakers on ESPN. It was a very exciting and entertaining game. The Lakers lead most of the way, but it was close through much of the game, especially in the 3rd and 4th quarters as the Suns kept crawling back to within 2 or 3 points. In the end, the Lakers prevailed, winning 130-124, with a great game from Kobe - ...Kobe Vs. Shaq: Gee, Anyone Watching This One?

Tonight on ESPN the Suns take on the Lakers for what seems like the 8 zillionth time in the past two years. We have the fun playoffs that featured these two teams going head-to-head to thank for that (and their mutual love of the color purple). This game is different though, for obvious reasons you've probably already had yelled in your ear all day by television and radio analysts: Shaq ...Shaq Kobe Battle Rehashes Old Memories

Tonight marks the official debut of Shaquille O’Neal in a Phoenix Suns jersey. In a media hyped acquisition that can only rival Sir Charles Barkley’s arrival in Phoenix, the Suns feel like O’Neal is the final piece of the puzzle. He brings a defensive and rebounding mentality to the Suns, something that the team has lacked all season, ranking last in team rebounding. ...Shaq Disses Bill Walton

Everyone probably has already seen this but here is the video from the Bill Walton-Shaq squabble. Bill Walton is a complete idiot. Shaquille O'Neal. Phoenix Suns. Plodding, injured big man. Run-n-gun speed freak small ball. How is this going to work? I have a few ideas. First, the Suns possess the best team of athletic doctors in the league. Steve Nash has been playing with a bad back since his days in Dallas, that's why Cuban wouldn't re-sign him. Grant Hill?
