Shayna Baszler has recently been added to EliteXC’s upcoming July 26th fight card. Baszler will enter the fight as the favorite against the less experienced Christiane Cyborg. In the following footage, Baszler shows why she will head in as the favorite. She does an excellent job working from her back to apply a deadly kimura that injures her opponent Samantha Gavere. EliteXC has had recent success featuring a battle between women. As evidenced in this clip, Baszler has the capability of capitalizing on that recent success.

Why is everyone always picking on poor Dana White? The UFC President's name was brought up during the Elite XC teleconference. Someone asked EliteXC female star Shayna Baszler (pictured w/Affliction star Josh Barnett) about White ripping on the depth in the women's MMA game. "I don't care what Dana White thinks,' said Baszler. "That's just gonna give companies like EliteXC one more thing to tap into that he's not.
