Denise I totally agree with Mr. Irrelevant. I know that the Bills were playing for a playoff spot but I found it sort of disrespectful of them to try to take advantage of the fact that there were only ten players on the field. It was only one play, they could have forgone one play. -
FlyMaster Both teams honored Taylor in their own ways. The Redskins did the "never forget a fallen soldier" bit, while the Bills honored the game by going 100% from the first hike. The 22 yard gain is irrelevant.
Video: Redskins Honor Sean Taylor With 10-Man Defense
FanHouse —
Filed under: Bills, Redskins, AFC East, NFC East, NFL Fans FanHouse's Dan Benton was all over this story earlier in the week, and on the Bills' first offensive possession, the Redskins, to honor fallen teammate Sean Taylor, took the field with 10 players. It was a touching moment, one brought back to reality when Buffalo ran to the left for a 22-yard gain. Here's how NFL.com reported it on the game's play-by-play: 1-10-BUF 32 -- 22-F.Jackson left end pushed ob at WAS 46 for 22 yards (30-L.Landry). Redskins' ...
Washington Redskins Salute Sean Taylor with 10 Men on First Defensive Play
FanIQ Blog —
It was rumored all week the Redskins would honor their fallen star with going a man down on the first defensive play. Today they followed through in a great moment remembering Sean Taylor.
Skins Start Ten Players on Defense
Mr. Irrelevant —
The Redskins played sans free safety on their first defensive play against the Bills today in honor of Sean Taylor. It was a nice gesture. It would’ve been nicer if the Bills had played along and taken a knee or something instead of running for 25 yards:

5. More information emerges on Taylor suspects. According to the Associated Press, Eric Rivera and Jason Mitchell both admitted to breaking into Sean Taylor’s Miami home (however, they wouldn’t confess to which intruder was armed and shot Taylor). All four suspects have been arrested prior to this case. Today, Mitchell became the fourth person to be charged with the death of Taylor; he was denied bond.

HAIL TO THE REDSKINS
More Credible - A Blog about Sports... and Sterling Gould —
I'd like to start the week exalting the Redskins for their "10 Player Defense" to start the game versus the Buffalo Bills. In the scheme of things, football isn't nearly as important as a life you compete with, someone you love, or someone you care about. It's a shame they lost the game the way they did (with Joe Gibbs using two times about consecutively, giving the Bills an easy field goal to win the game), but regardless, the Redskins organization and their fans showed the utmost class throughout the contest. Rest in peace Sean. You were taken too ...
Monday NFL Hangover: And on the third week, he rose
Construda —
Naturally, Purple Jesus rose from the dead and it was against the Detroit Lions and he promptly took out his built-up anger on the opponent after missing two games due to a knee injury. Sixteen carries for 115 yards and two scores who made Lions safety Kenoy Kennedy look like a fool. And AD didn't even play in the final quarter. Now the Minnesota Vikings are 6-6, winners of three straight, and in position to reach the playoffs. They're apart of the cluster that is the NFC WildCard. With the Lions, losers of four straight, giving away the second WildCard berth, and the Vikings and Cardinals playing well (6-6), it's shaping up to be a crazy ...
NFL Week 13 Wrap: Joe Gibbs to Blame for Redskins Emotional Loss?
Hail Mary Jane —
Redskins Unable to pull of Emotional Victory
The Washington Redskins honored Sean Taylor in every way possible except for winning the game. They started out the game with only 10 defensive players on the field to signify Sean Taylor not being there. You could see members of the Redskins crying at different points in the game. Nearly every member in the crowd had #21 towels or signs.
