Red Sox Monster —
In light of the way tonight's 3-1 loss by the Red Sox to the Tampa Bay Rays went, perhaps this image captured during the telecast of the game sums up the frustration of Sox fans everywhere: Yeah, that just about does it, although if you prefer this video, that's also an option for the time being: Ironically, this telecast on NESN marks the second time in a week that someone is caught on live television flipping off random individuals, following Kerry Wood's extending the International Sign of Friendliness over the weekend . The Rays beat the Red Sox again last night 3-1 to pad their lead over reigning AL East champs to 2 1/2 games.
If your a fan of the Red Sox (why?) and you made the trip down to Florida with the team to support them, than you’ve been pretty disappointed so far.
The Rays not only have the best record in the league (51-32) but they are also 5-0 this season at home against the Red Sox so it was no surprise that they won last night but there were some Red Sox fans who weren’t too happy about it. Check out this “pink hat” fan and her irate dad (husband?).

Apparently, Kerry Wood is a teacher of sorts. This unhappy Boston Red Sox fan was caught on camera showing the world how unhappy he was at the moment. I’m not sure if he was flipping off the camera or people around him, but either way it made for entertaining television.
Here is the video of the Boston Red Sox fan and his middle finger: ...
