Video Gold: Steve Nash, the ultimate motivator
Ball Don't Lie —
I can't think of a better way to kick off the Halloween weekend than by sharing this quirky video of Suns point guard Steve Nash trying to encourage some VitaminWater employees to step their crystalline fructose beverage game up. David Brent would be proud. With no disrespect to Bosh, Baron, Dwight, Shaq, Oden, LeBron, Mike James or Sheed, when it comes to NBA funny, Steve Nash still holds the crown. Man, I wish I looked like him. Oh well. (Thanks to TBJ'er Jeff for the link.)

More Reasons to Love Steve Nash
Fanster's Suns Community —
Many thanks to J.E. Skeets of Ball Don't Lie (Yahoo) posted these hilarious videos of Steve Nash doing some viral stuff for Vitamin Water. I love when athletes don't take themselves too seriously and Nash definitely doesn't. ...
Why Phoenix's Steve Nash is the NBA's funniest player
HoopsVibe NBA Blog —
Why Phoenix’s Steve Nash is the NBA’s funniest player [image] I often think NBA stars take themselves too seriously. The third-person references, twenty-deep entourages, and indulgent talk of self-branding are too much. I understand it, though. And I don t blame the athletes, either. With so much money on the table, today s players have to be schooled in the business of basketball. LeBron James is the perfect example, trademarking his King James logo in the tenth grade. In this money-driven climate, I appreciate athletes who respect the game and possess a sense of humour. Steve Nash is a great example. He competes each night. And has no issue laughing ...
Steve Nash Is “The Spokesman”
Dime Magazine —
In three digital shorts for Vitamin Water, two-time MVP Steve Nash takes you from the office to the photo shoot to his training regimen. Click HERE to see all three. Hilarious.
What Steve Nash Has Been Up To
JR, On Fire —
Over the NBA off-season I tied up Steve Nash's free throw challenge. I was hoping he would reply to the challenge but as you can see below, he has been busy with other matters. I have to say, it is rather funny stuff.
STEVE NASH IS FUNNY
With Leather - Sports news and gossip, panda sex, and the occasional Toonces the driving cat Photoshop —
Here’s Steve Nash deadpanning around the Vitamin Water offices, and I’m equally entertained and annoyed by it. Hey corporate assholes, stop making advertising that I enjoy! It’s way more fun to bitch about the “Saved by Zero” song than it is to admit that something developed by marketers is actually well-conceived and smartly executed. I don’t like re-evaluating my biases — like, say, Asians are good at math, or bloggers will suck anyone’s cock for a couple more page views.
After the jump, another Vitamin Water spot in which ...
Steve Nash Does His Best Michael Scott Impersonation For Vitamin Water
MOUTHPIECE Blog // A Chicago-Addled Sports Blog —
Steve Nash is a floor general. But if you ever hear him talk to the public, you get the impression he’s a pretty soft spoken guy. You would be wrong, though, according to his latest Vitamin Water commercials. See below as Nash takes charge and pretends like he’s running a Dunder Mifflin office.
The whole “Corporate A-Hole Manager” type comes across perfectly via Nash — although negative points for the unnecessary attack on Chicago. You’re on notice, Steve.

Steve Nash Is At It Again, This Time For Vitamin Water
FanIQ Blog —
Steve Nash is one of the best point guards in NBA history. But that's not really the point. The point is that Steve Nash is at least a moderately funny man. If you remember Nash's video with Baron Davis, you might agree.
Steve came out with a new video for Vitamin ...
Nash Can Swim With Sharks Because He Swims Faster (So it’s not a big deal)
Basketball Exchange —
Let me introduce you guys to a word called 'sarcasm'. First, here's Steve Nash's video for Vitamin Water, a brand that has yet to reach our shores, which is good, because I can write about it freely.
Anyway, here's the full video, where Nash goes Zoolander on us: ...
Steve Nash Deadpans His Way To Marketing Gold
TheScore.com Blog —
As far as being a spokesperson goes, Steve Nash has come a long way from those old MDG Computers commercials he used to do. As in: from being lame to pretty much killing anything that anyone has ever done before. Ever.
And no, I don't mean just in the whole sports star marketing realm-- I literally mean anything ever. It's like: Michelangelo's David, Scarlett Johansson's *** (what? I can't say t*ts?), Steve Nash's Vitamin Water commercials, and then... I don't know, Shakespeare or computers or something. ...
Steve Nash Is Still Rather Humorous
AwfulAnnouncing —
So Vitamin Water, who has almost every athlete on the planet under their umbrella, has now filmed a set of commercials with Steve Nash. There are two versions out there, but my favorite is Steve's trip to the VW offices.... ...
On the Tube: Steve Nash visits the Vitamin Water offices
tonyblogs.net - Sports news, humor, videos and prognostications. —
Steve Nash has jumped on the athlete-heavy Vitamin Water advertising ship and is their newest spokesperson. In this first commercial, he visits the Vitamin Water offices.
Pretty funny stuff. Nash, aside from being one of the best point guards ever, is one of the better actors in the NBA and this is just another of many examples.
(Grazie, Awful Announcing, for the video.) ...
Steve Nash Gives Vitamin Water a "Piggyback Ride"
Sports Business Radio blogs —
For people who read my blog regularly, you know that Suns guard Steve Nash is just about my favorite athlete on the planet. I love his style of play and I also love what he stands for off of the court.
In late 2007, Nash joined me on SBR to discuss his endorsement deals and philanthropic efforts amongst other topics. My favorite sports spot of the past few years is this video Nash produced himself in NYC in the summer of 2007.
And I love this new video of Nash helping out one of his sponsors - Vitamin Water. Check it out below. You've got to love Nash's "tongue in cheek" sense of humor. You just don't see the same ...

Steve Nash’s Vitamin Water Ads
Dime Magazine —
Though Steve Nash’s Vitamin Water ad campaign isn’t quite on par with what LeBron is doing for The Six with that chick from the Pussycat Dolls who looks like Kim Kardashian (see below), Nash’s new ad campaign is definitely worth a look. Nash has a great sense of humor - there are a bunch of different videos, one of which he looks and acts exactly like Zoolander. Who do you think is the most marketable star in today’s game? Source: AZ Central ...

Steve Nash is the Funniest NBA Player
ESPN.com - TrueHoop —
When he signs the lady's Shaquille O'Neal shoe and she starts freaking out ... this is stuff that might be funny even if you have no idea who he is. With a nod to Chris Bosh, most NBA comedy is simply not on that scale. ... There's plenty more. Here Steve Nash is talking straight-faced about his training as we see him acting like a human skee-ball. There he is mocking himself as a superstar: "People say hey, you don't want to swim with sharks, but I'm faster than sharks, so it's not a big deal." I hope that one day he'll write a book, because it would be a good read.
