Ford some dough by preventing Ford from bum-rushing the official, but man, was restraining him by the neck really a smart idea? I know Ford isn't made of glass, but I would considered just picking him up around the waist and carrying him to the locker room myself before doing that. As for the rest of the Raptors, they ended getting waxed by 17, falling to the Jazz ...

65-65, start of the fourth quarter. In comes T.J. Ford for Jose Calderon. Ford's next five minutes: missed shot, turnover, turnover, defensive foul, offensive foul, Napoleon complex!, tech, tech, ejection, sigh. I've been one of Ford's biggest supporters and, some would say, apologist in the blogosphere, but I think it's safe to say that TJ is as good as gone from Toronto after this season. His play over the last few weeks has been so erratic that I'm not even sure giving him the starting PG duties back (or the return of Chris Bosh) ...

In just 13:31 of playing time during the Raptors-Jazz contest on Monday night, T.J. Ford managed to shoot a dismal 3-9 from the field, while racking up four turnovers and having a brutal +/- rating for the game of -21. What better way to end such a horrible game than throwing a temper tantrum at the officiating crew and picking up a pair of technicals?
First of all, Jason Kapono’s attempt to restrain Ford has gotta be one of the funniest things I’ve seen in quite some time. More importantly, I have no idea what the hell Ford could have been arguing about…there was absolutely no question he committed ...
