Michael Spurlock Scores, Tampa Bay Bucs Get First Kickoff Return for TD in Team History
Every Morning Quarterback —
It had to happen sooner or later. Tampa Bay Bucs KR Michael Spurlock returned a kickoff for a touchdown. Big deal? Indeed it was. It was the first time in Tampa Bay Bucs history that it happened. When you think about it, that’s one of the most amazing non-plays in the history of professional sports. You would think that sometime over the past 32 seasons and 1,865 tries that the Bucs would have found a way, even accidentally, to score a TD on a kickoff. Nope. Not until today. Unbelievable. The icing on the cake was a win, 37-3, over the obviously unfocused Atlanta Falcons.

My new favorite, random LSUFreek fark Excuse my lack of content of late. On top of real life excuses, work has been blog-blocking me. (those cocksmen) I guess they don't want their employees blogging at work or something. Even so, I think I've found a way around it. It's kinda like watching those scrambled channels at the end of the dial way back in...er, junior high (without the cheezy music). The Man won't ever come between me and my contrabanded entertainments! So what did I miss??? Lets see. What to tackle first? Yesterday, the Falcons helped the Bucs create history with their God-awful kick return coverage. Before Sunday, the Bucs had never returned a kick return for a touchdown... ever. 32 fucking seasons. That was over 1800 attempts to take a ball endzone to endzone. Michael Moore had less attempts trying to lose his virginity. The Falcons were also bad enough to allow the Bucs to put up 37 points in a blowout. Trust me people, I'm a Bucs fan, but I know how bad the Bucs suck. They're not really that good. Despite the awesome record, and clinching the NFC South. What's even more awesome? I could've ...

Michael Spurlock Makes Buccaneers History
sports.aol.com 12/16/2007 — Michael Spurlock just became the answer to an NFL trivia question. For the first time in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 32-year history , Spurlock, a former quarterback at the University of Mississippi, returned a kickoff for a touchdown. He took the ball at his own 10 yard line, ran it up the middle at first, then bounced into the clear for his historic run. The Bucs returned 1,865 kickoffs ...

FakeTeams
History was made yesterday as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers finally ran a kickoff back for a touchdown, the first time that has happened in the 32 years of the franchise. The honor goes to wide receiver Michael Spurlock, who has really come a long way since making that "Super Size Me" movie. When fantasy football and real football collide: Brian Westbrook's heads-up play of stopping on ...
Not Even The Bucs Knew Who Returned That Kickoff For Them Yesterday —
AwfulAnnouncing
This isn't nearly as funny as the team of Vasgersian and Pearson calling him Morgan Spurlock (true story), but it's close. The Tampa Bay Bucs Website can't seem to figure out who this Michael Spurlock character is or where he's even from. Via SbB... I'm not even sure which one to believe. One has his first name as Michael and one as Micheal, and he's from Mississippe? Shouldn't that have ...
Santa Marina! Buccs Kickoff Return Takes Them Off Dubious List —
FanHouse
With Tampa Bay's Michael Spurlock returning the first ever kickoff return for a touchdown in Buccaneers' history , it takes them off of one of sport's dubious lists of 'never dones'. It was worth 32 years of the inability to do so just to hear the announcer yell SANTA MARIA! Now the weirdest stat is the fact that no New York Mets pitcher has ever pitched a no-hitter in the 46 years the ...
