Your Afternoon Tea
College Hoops Journal — High praise to Len Elmore and Mike Patrick for talking as much as possible in order to attempt to mute the out-of-sync chants of “Tea-Bag-Paul-Us!” from the Virginia Tech student section last night. The second video is the reason for the chant. A nice coincidence: Elmore and Patrick were calling both games. Poor Paulus. He’s approaching the upper echelon of Hated Dookies along with Redick, Laettner, Shavlik Randolph, Wojo and the most UNDERRATED hate-able Dookie: Eric Meek.

Great Chant: “Tea-bag Pau-lus”

PAULUS IN DUKE'S PANTHEON OF DOUCHES
REALESTS NCAA College Michigan Football Basketball Rich Rodriguez Lil Wayne DMX — After watching Greg Paulus' flopfest against Florida State last week, it was only a matter of time. But take a look at the latest press release on GoDuke.com: Last night, Duke point guard Greg Paulus officially entered Duke's Pantheon of Douches as Hokie fans screamed "Tea-bag! Paul-us!" in reference to this play from last year. There will be a ceremony before Duke's next home game Thursday against N.C. State to congratulate his accomplishment. Former Blue Devils Christian Laettner and J.J. Redick will be in attendance, ...

They’re Not Saying ‘Tea Bag Paulus,’ They’re Saying ‘Mooovers’
Mr. Irrelevant, a D.C. Sports Blog From the Brothers Mottram — Yet another video from last night’s Tech-Duke game. This one — according to the video’s info — is of the Tech fans chanting “tea bag Paulus.” I almost, sort of make that out once or twice at the very beginning, but whatever they’re chanting after that is unknown to me: Whether or not they’re actually saying “tea bag Paulus” is up for discussion. But what we do know for sure is that Paulus was indeed tea bagged by Washington last season. (Headline reference)

Danny Green Dunks on Greg Paulus ... Setting Up More Tauntings for Greg
FanHouse — Filed under: UNC Basketball, Duke Basketball, ACC Basketball, NCAA Basketball Video, Charlotte, Carolina Duke players are known to take charges. Greg Paulus should have forgotton about that last night. Paulus will be all over the internets and highlight shows as the guy who got dunked on by UNC's Danny Green. Green, on a 4-on-1 fast break, took a pass and decided to smash one on Paulus. Needless to say, Paulus' face was in a place he really didn't want it to be. This follows last year's incident where Va ...

Is Greg Paulus coming to Happy Valley?
NittanyWhiteOut — No, not as a member of the Nittany Lions.  As a member of the Syracuse Orange football team, in time for the Syracuse-Penn State matchup in September.  Seriously, you didn’t think I meant…yes, I know the title’s a little vague, but, hey, it does make sense. Yeah, well, after Michigan stopped their recruitment of the former Duke point guard, some wondered about his future.  Would he jump to the NFL (probably not)?  Disappear from the public consciousness (please?)  Well, the Syracuse blog “Troy Nunes is an Absolute Magician” (I don’t get it either) quotes ESPN sources that say that ...

Greg Paulus To Syracuse The Latest Word
MOUTHPIECE Blog // A Chicago-Addled Sports Blog — Even if you dislike Greg Paulus, you’d be silly to deny his quest to play football in his fifth year of eligibility is at least mildly intriguing. Come on, people: This is a cool little story. Find it in your black heart to parse out your Paulus teabag hate, and just admit it. The Packers, Duke and Michigan all expressed interest in the tiny quarterback. But it looks like Syracuse University might be his new home. Joe Schad at ESPN has the details: A person familiar with the situation said it is “95 percent” certain that Paulus will be on a college football roster next ...

Ballin' is a Habit — GREG PAULUS: VIRGINIA TECH LEGEND?: We have all seen these videos by now; you know, the "tea bag Paulus" chants that rained down on the Duke point guard just about every time he stepped to the free throw line. Now we know why. Any Va. Tech students out there know where this picture is from? ...
