The Return of Terry Tate!!!
Fang's Bites —
Admit it. You loved Terry Tate in Super Bowl XXXVIII. Now he's back telling you to vote. Anything you want, Mr. Tate. Terry Tate's Reebok ads were some of best I've ever seen. Here's Terry's debut ad from the Super Bowl. And here's the first webisode in Reebok's successful series of "Terry Tate, Office Linebacker". I loved this series. If you want to all of Terry Tate's videos, they're archived in his YouTube channel.
The return of Terry Tate: Office Linebacker
Shutdown Corner —
This doesn't have a literal connection with the NFL but, as the Terry Tate ads did debut during the 2003 Super Bowl, there is a symbolic one. Or something like that. Why Terry Tate is trying to get out the vote on November 4, I have no idea. But judging from the video after the jump, I think I can guess who he's voting for.

Sean's Ramblings —
At what age does it stop being fun to play in the rain? I worked two games as a soccer referee yesterday in miserable cold and rainy conditions. In the second game, where the weather turned worse than the first one, some of the 15 and 16 year-old kids seemed to be having a great time. I did not, but of course, I was not actually playing. On to the links: ...
The Return of Terry Tate: Don’t Forget to Vote!
Knight-Packer —

Change We Don’t Need
Comments on: —
No, it’s not what you think: there’s no way I’m going there. You should definitely vote (and if you don’t office linebacker Terry Tate will pummel you), but One Bad Wheel is not about to tell you how to vote. Instead let’s talk about the popular notion that the Chase is broken and the only way to fix it is to change the format. It’s false and I really hope NASCAR realizes it. No other sport is so quick to call for rule changes. I’m not opposed to change, but just like tradition there needs to be a reason for change. And it needs to be a better reason than this particular year was boring. Other big sports like the NBA, NFL and MLB all go ...

Jay Cutler-QB-Broncos The Rocky Mountain News reports that defenses are able to get into Jay Cutler’s head, more than explaining his multiple interceptions in the last four games. According to sources linebackers of opposing teams are instructed to call Jay ‘Mr Jake Plummer’ and ‘Mrs Elway’ when he’s calling plays on the line. The rest is ‘cake’ some defensive opponents say.
The Best Thing To Ever Happen To Fantasy Football
FantasyHumor —
With the ushering in of a new President in a nationwide mandate yesterday evening fantasy football will forever change. Barack Obama, 47, showed a strong show of support to fantasy fans when he raised an NFL jersey to the sky Wednesday night, and proclaimed America ‘a nation of devoted and passionate fantasy fans’ who will only find better services, websites, and interfaces for the game they love in the coming years.
The senator from Illinois said this on the heels of fantasy football exhibiting the worst ‘expert analysis’ of any industry anywhere. In many cases fantasy sites are ...
