We reported yesterday that Barry Melrose was leaving the comfy confines of the ESPN studios for the back of the Tampa Bay Lightning’s bench. Barry Melrose worked at ESPN for a loooooooooong time. 13 years to be exact. So, naturally, they are paying tribute to him in the best way possible. A montage! ('Cause we need a montage! Montageeee!)+2 if you got that reference. Anyway, here's the video.

I admit it. I'm a sucker for Barry Melrose. The guy did all he could to make hockey fans forget ESPN doesn't carry the sport anymore. It wasn't enough. But like I said, he tried.
