Storming the Floor —
No fancy intro here. Just links, links, links to get you worked up for NBA draft day. Clearly, the most excited potential draftee is Shan Foster. Our buddies at ESPN: the Magazine got him to sing about it. Don't kid yourself, that ish is catchy. Good friends of the blog Bizarro Joe Lunardi will be hosting an NBA draft live blog. We higly encourage a drop by and comment-fest. Andy Katz checked in with the ever-nutty Lopez Brothers, who should be amongst the most interesting characters in the NBA green room this year. And, if the inclusion of tons ...

Shan Foster and one of his more high-percentage shots I would wholly commend GM Donnie Nelson and the Dallas Mavericks for not taking some wild leap and selecting some European guy who's still three years out in the NBA draft last night.

Foster’s greatest strength is his shooting, as he was one of the best three point shooters in the country last year. He’s also got nice length, speed and athleticism, and he can play ...

Mavs Moneyball
So with all talk about moving up in the Draft, the Mavs FO must have fallen asleep and forgot that CDR was available until almost halfway into the 2nd round. So was Walker.
But they seemed to have come alive, and took what was probably the best available player at 51 in Shan Foster.
Here is some info on Shan via nbadraft.net , wikipedia , and the 4 ...
Vandy's Foster Can't Wait to Play in the NBA —
The Sporting Blog
This originally appeared on the ESPN mag , but it's taken me about a day to figure out my feelings about it. And wait for it to show up on YouTube so I could embed it.
Pretty self-explanatory: It's Vanderbilt guard Shan Foster, who may or may not get drafted tomorrow, singing his heart out about how much he wants to make the league. Not in an "it's the ultimate possibility" way, ...
