The Atlanta Braves have revealed a new marketing partnership with the aptly-named, chicken fillet restaurant Chick-Fil-A, where they installed a huge, mechanical tomahawking cow on top of the roof of the right field pavilion at Turner Field. The cow is part of a promotional scheme we Atlantans are very familiar with. Chick-Fil-A has billboards all over town featuring cows that encourage you to “ eat more chikin .” Coincidentally, I was at the game on Friday, and the consensus was: “Whoa, where’d that cow come from? A few weeks ago, I told you that the Braves were installing a gigantic tomahawk-chopping Chick-fil-A cow in the upper left field area of Turner Field.
Today, UmpBump presents the videotaped evidence in all its awesomeness, and from the looks of the packed stands, it would appear the cow is having quite the intended impact at the gate.

You may remember last week we informed you of the 40-foot high, 15,000 lbs. mechanical tomahawk-chopping cow that was going to be added to Turner Field - presumably to distract the fans from the Braves' mediocre play.
Well, guess what. The monstrosity is now fully operational and tomahawk-chopping away like a...well, like a sloth stuck in super glue. But hey, it's the effort that counts, and that cow is giving it his (her? whatever) all.

Being that I am a Mets fan, I’ve always hated the Braves with a passion. I’ve been alive for 24 years and 13 of those years, they’ve been AL East Champions so thats plenty of time to develop a very strong hatred for them. Despite that though, seeing them miss the playoffs the last couple of years hasn’t been as gratifying as I thought it would be but that all changed today when I saw this video.
