Tony Romo Poor At Holding For Field Goals, Carrying A Tune
Published 5/12/2008 by Andy Smith at Bugs & Cranks
Cowboys quarterback and Eastern Illinois graduate Tony Romo was it the Cubs game yesterday, throwing out the first pitch and leading the crowd in the traditional seventh inning rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.” The throwing part went well. The singing part…not so much. Sadly, he still may have a better voice than his significant other.

Since I used a post on Friday to do my best Simon Cowell impersonation on Amanda Overmyer and her rendition of the National Anthem at the Cubs-D'Backs game, it's only fair that I also post Tony Romo's "singing" of Take Me Out To The Ballgame. Perhaps needless to say, it is much, much worse than Ms. Overmyer's needless "interpretation." While I like Romo as much as a Bears fan can (I spent some time in his hometown in Wisconsin last season and he's as humble a star you could meet), this is about as bad as it gets. I never thought I'd say ...
You Got Ro–Oh God, No!

Tony Romo made a recent stop at Wrigley Field where he lead the crowd in a rendition of Take Me Out to the Ball Game. In a shocking twist that nobody saw coming, he was fucking terrible.
Clearly he’s trying to endear himself to the Simpson ladies. That performance showed the vocal range we’d expect from Jessica and all of the uncomfortable moments that make Ashley’s performances so special.
Harry Caray’s corpse has more charisma as of late.

This is has been posted everywhere today, but I don’t give an eff. It’s been a stressful day, and all I can think about is an Old Style, my Fukudome jersey, and my well-worn seat four rows up in the center field bleachers, all of which I will be indulging in in approximate four hours. It’s a beautiful thing.
Less beautiful is Tony Romo’s edition of Take Me Out to the Ballgame, which not only features some truly horrible singing — that would be entirely forgivable — but Romo’s apparent embarrassment at how bad he was. Any ...
Colts Fans are Everywhere

I've seen the hometown Nationals play twice now in three weeks; once against the Cubs, and yesterday vs. the Marlins. I, being the Colts homer I am, wore a Colts shirt to the Cubs game, and a Colts hat yesterday. Both games, I've gotten a "Go Colts!" I've also seen numerous other coats or T-shirts around town. DC definitely has a nice ...

Check out Tony Romo's rendition of "Take me out to the ballgame" during yesterday's Cubs game! While this is not one of the worst renditions ever, it is still pretty awful. Thanks to Bugsandcranks for the video... ...
