By Will Brinson You know what a good idea is? Not to get ejected while your team is in the middle of the NCAA tournament as a three seed. That's might be something that's considered a good idea. Trent Johnson didn't think so, though, getting ejected before halftime of that thrilling Stanford - Marquette overtime game. Please make sure to note that Doug Oliver, the assistant head coach who finished the game coaching for the Cardinal, buries his head in his hands (as shown by Jay Bilas) when he finds out he's in charge. And we're final; I don't care if he won or not. It's still a) stupid on Johnson's part and b) hysterical on Oliver's. ...

It was a wild one in Anaheim on Saturday afternoon. The third-seeded Stanford Cardinals faced third-seeded Marquette in a South region showdown, and the Cardinals played the majority of the game under unusual circumstances. Their coach, Trent Johnson, was booted from the game with 3:36 remaining in the first half after arguing a call against Lawrence Hill — take a look:
