Barnsley fans score a goal against Manchester United, whose own fans robbed a food stand
Sports Rubbish — The Carling Cup match between Barnsley and Manchester United featured a result you would expect. But while Man U won 2-0, the best action involved the fans. In the closing minutes these two fans in the video below combined to strip Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster and put the ball in the back of the net with a nice volley. It’s sad when the players who are on the team are unable to do the same. A total of eight fans were arrested before, during, and after the match. This includes two people who stood on a railway line, forcing trains to stop. ...

Seems that towards the end of Man Utd ’s 2-0 Carling Cup away win over Barnsley last night, two Tykes fans ran on and combined to put the ball past Ben Foster as he was taking a goal kick. Foster gets a foot in, but pitchinvader#1 stabs a pass to pitchinvader#2 who flicks it up and volleys home. Pretty decent finish. Maye this is the future for the Carling Cup? Each team fields a mix of senior ...
