Back in February, we caught up with UFC legend and original Heavy Weight Champion, Mark Coleman and asked him his thoughts on Brock Lesnar . It seems he did not foresee his August 9th matchup with Brock Lesnar for UFC 87:Seek and Destroy .

Or at least he was, back in February. This newly unearthed clip from RawVegas.tv catches Coleman saying he’d drop to 205 to avoid fighting the Big Les. Damn…the promise of a big payday will make a person do crazy things. Good luck, buddy!

mvn.com 5/22/2008 — Mark Coleman has withdrawn from his match with Brock Lesnar at UFC 87 in Minnesota this August but the UFC quickly dropped a bombshell by announcing that Welterweight Champion, Georges St-Pierre will defend his title against the number one contender, Jon Fitch.
GSP won the title from Matt Serra back at UFC 83 in April and Fitch last fought at UFC 82 in March against Chris Wilson.
